The job

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will supporting clients for the German version of E-Bay when sellers and buys are connecting (for example payment issues, fraud, disagreement about items etc.)

It is a dynamic role that requires adaptability and a customer-oriented mindset to ensure that every customer interaction leaves a positive impression.

Your daily work will include tasks like these:

  • Support B2B customers over the phone, email, and chat
  • Communicate with customers to find the best solution to their problem
  • Brainstorm with your colleagues to improve the Customer Experience
  • Control and handle payment inquiries from sellers and buyers through various client platforms
  • Ensure improved Trustpilot reviews
  • Flag and escalate customer queries when needed to find the right resolution
  • Map and improve business processes to enhance the customer journey and satisfaction

Your qualifications

💭 You speak and write German at a native level and you are fluent in English (C1 or strong B2).

🎓 Experience in the the customer support industry is a plus.

  • Education in business administration or finance or similar.

💻 You have a basic understanding and level of computer handling skills (MS Office applications).

💪🏻 Excellent problem solving skills with good inter-personal relationship building skills (empathy, listening ability, communication, ability to remain calm in stressful situations)

🥇 Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, duties and tasks, and you have excellent communication skills and can express your thoughts clearly and concisely.
