The job

As a Media Monitoring Specialist, you will mainly be doing written work. RTV-work consist of writing, but it also involves good communication amongst the team. The company expects you to take initiative in an open dialogue and volunteer to help your colleagues when needed. They are looking for someone who is social and can inspire his/her teammates both at work and outside of the office.
Your job involves daily tasks like these:

  • Deliver summaries in Norwegian
  • Monitor and write summaries from a set of fixed broadcasts airing mostly at the same times during the week.
  • Handle Norway’s biggest and most important channels where the agenda is expected to be set.
  • Write English summaries for a banking customer six times a week during the morning- and the weekend shifts. In addition, English is used in our internal communication.
  • Having some degree of knowledge of Norwegian Government is very helpful in this job, since working with public customers means several links to the Norwegian Government and how they prioritize public budgets and the political interests.

Your qualifications

💭 You speak and write Norwegian at a native level and you are fluent in English (B2).

🎓 Experience in customer support is an advantage. Experience and a high level of typing skills is an advantage. Relevant degree (journalism, literature) is a big plus.

💻 You have a good understanding and level of computer handling skills. Longer experience working with RTV gives the specialists an expanded and efficient skill set.

💪🏻 Excellent problem solving skills with the capability of research and identification of the right information. You have experience in and a passion for online display advertising.

🥇 You have strong communication and negotiation skills and you are service-oriented, professional, and thorough.
