Mia is from Switzerland but is currently contemplating moving to Germany, because her boyfriend is from there. She is passionate about new experiences and adventure, and she has spent years living and travelling across Canada, the US, Mexico, Central and South America, and most of Europe. Her travels started as a one-way ticket with her backpack but turned into a decade of exploration. She recently returned to Switzerland to be closer to family, but she is already fully ready for her next adventure.

Mia loves the flexibility of her life, and she enjoys getting to know different companies, and connecting with people with different backgrounds and stories. After having travelled so much on her own she truly finds joy in helping others take the big step into new opportunities.

Some of the best parts of moving to a new place are the people, culture, food, and even how the sun feels slightly different wherever you go. When she’s off work she dedicates her time to travelling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her rescue dog from Mexico. She’s also a big fan of surfing, diving, and hiking.

Her best advice for anyone thinking about moving abroad is to not be afraid of jumping straight into it. The only thing to fear is not taking the chance at all, because you’ll always miss the shots you don’t take.
