Veronika is from Germany, but she considers the whole world her home, and is based in the Philippines. Veronika’s life is full of travel and exploration. Her journey began while she was in school, with dreams of an exchange year in Australia. This trip started her lifelong passion for travel. She has lived in Australia, Panama, South Africa, Portugal, Spain, and the Maldives, just to name a few - and she has visited around 40 countries.

She truly loves meeting fascinating people and helping them take the first big step towards their own adventures abroad. Moving to a new place provides new nature, people, cultures, and food. Every new country brings a different vibe and feeling, a fresh sense of freedom, and endless excitement.

When she’s off work she enjoys surfing, hiking, swimming, snorkelling, and diving. She also appreciates the simple pleasures of life, like relaxing on a beach or in a hammock with a good book. She is very spontaneous and her love for the unknown means that she’s excited about surprises and the unexpected twists of life’s journey.

Her advice for anyone moving abroad is to dive in headfirst and get ready for the ride of your life. While it’s essential to be prepared for challenges like language barriers and the occasional homesickness, it’s 100 % worth it.
